Christy Montes, ND offers guidance specific to each individual's nutritional, wellness, diet and detox needs, for children, teens and adults using a bio-energetic scanner and the science of kinesiology. Dr. Christy incorporates mind, body and spirit health in her practice with an understanding that each person was uniquely created and needs a personalized plan. She incorporates faith, emotion and homeopathic principles while providing the upmost care and respect for each client.
Dr. Christy offers several naturopathic services to help you find information on your body's needs specific to foods and toxins that may be causing stress on your body.
What can I expect during an appointment?
Starting a health journey can seem daunting and confusing, but we want to give you an idea of what is in store for a typical first appointment. Please keep in mind that Dr. Christy can cater her services to each individual. We put you in control of your health journey!
After scheduling a first time appointment with Dr. Christy, you will receive two forms to complete before the appointment. At the beginning of the session, Dr. Christy will go over you history, goals, what test will be preformed, and any questions you may have. Dr. Christy offers several different tests, each covers a wide variety of topics and she can cater each test category to what you need. Food testing typically takes 5-7 minutes and determines what foods add or diminish stress. Muscle testing allows Dr. Christy to check the bodies systems and create a custom protocol tailored to the client and typically takes 7-10 minutes. Multi-channel biofeedback analyzes hundreds of substances to determine which are affecting the body and which areas are out of balance. The first appointment typically last an hour and fifteen minutes depending on the test being preformed and what questions you have. Returning appointments can be much shorter due to the fact that many of the test do not need to be preformed every session.
