Dr. Christy is proud to offer a state of the art water filtration system that is conveniently located in house. Kangen water is a Japanese water filtration system that introduces molecular hydrogen into normal tap water reducing free radicals and increasing antioxidants.
Oxidation reactions cause our bodies to undergo oxidative stress, this causes toxic effects through the production of peroxides and free radicals. Peroxides and free radicals cause cells to experience damage to proteins, lipids, and DNA. Prolonged oxidation stress has been shown to have many negative impacts on the cells as well as the body. While there are many foods that have naturally occurring antioxidants, many individuals fail to consume enough antioxidant enriched foods to properly fight off peroxides and free radicals. Kangen water is an important step in achieving the goal of having a balanced level of antioxidants in ones body.
